Climate: The hottest months throughout Victoria are January and February with average maximum temperatures of 25ºC along the coast, 20ºC in the high country and up to 35ºC in the north west of the state. In winter the maximum temperatures range from 13ºC in the coastal areas, below 10ºC (less than 3ºC on the peaks) in the high country and 17ºC in the north west.
